We recently went to Evje and the surrounding area to do some Home Teaching and visiting. What a beautiful ride we had!!

Patricia is a sweet member from England who's husband died several years ago. She has no family here and doesn't get to church very often because she lives so far away. We had a great visit!
Patricia in front of her cozy home
Most of the homes here are white, many are red and
some are this yellow mustard color that I love! The Sister
missionaries call them the "brown cheese" colored houses.
Speaking of the famous, Norwegian brown cheese -
it is delicious!!
Especially on top of knekkebrød!
Åse shared this recipe with me and
it is a keeper!!
So if you can find some Tine Brown Cheese, buy it and make
yourself some knekkebrød. Yummy!!
This "brown cheese" home is a keeper too!!
