It's not Route 66 but we did get our kicks on Route 8 -
It was Great!
Farsund - Lista is another beautiful area in southern Norway. There is the Lista Fyr, (light house), but it was so stormy, we didn't get out and take a picture. In the town of Lista, is the American "department" store, "Trunken", (The Trunk). We had heard about this place so had to stop and see.
It was fun to see all this merchandise! One of the Elders was so excited that we were going there - he had us bring him 2 boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese at about $8.00 each and one of the Sisters wanted a bag of Goldfish - just $6.50.
Jim was tempted to get a can of soda for $5.00 but resisted. There weren't any Red Vines, so nothing I couldn't live without!
I did like this sign!
Because of all the rain lately, the streams are rushing and there are waterfalls everywhere! We usually see several on our way to the Center each day.

Wow. It is just so beautiful. I love the drives you take. What a beautiful land. I am a little shocked by the prices--had no idea. I bet everyone had a great time at your party. It all looks like so much fun.
