KRISTIANSAND!

Senteret
I read some place that "Norway is a well kept secret".  It is!  What a beautiful place with beautiful people!  We have had an amazing 10 days here - let me show you.

We were welcomed at the Kristiansand airport by Sosters Campbell and Rogers and Aida, the ward's best missionary and missionary's friend! We settled in to our apartment in Sogne, a town about 20 minutes outside of Ksand.  The drive between the "center", where we will be spending most of our time and our apartment, is beautiful - take a look.

Senteret, (the center), is a great place!  It is right in the center of Ksand and is used, not only by the YSA's but by the ward for seminary classes, R.S. activities, some YW mtgs. and where many missionary discussions are held. The members in Kristiansand are very blessed to have this place, they know it and they love it!

Friday evenings at senteret means dinner, institute class and activities. We all have a great time!

Saturday morning, we were invited to go to Arendal, a town about an hour away, in our mission district, to witness a baptism.  We drove our two elders, Hurst and Dalton and had such a great experience!  The sister who spoke compared our little group to the group in the Book of Mormon, with Alma at the Waters of Mormon. They were so happy they raised their arms and clapped for joy.  After Esteban was baptized, we raised our arms and clapped because of the joy we had for him.

We are so grateful for this opportunity to live, serve and love the people in Norway!  The Church is true!  Heavenly Father loves us all!

Just a normal scene at the side of the road.
On the way to the center.
The fish were jumping like crazy the other evening.
